In New York in 1964 the murder rate is soaring. When Katrina Marino gets home from her night shift somebody is waiting for her. Acts of Violence is Katrinas story. It also tells the Stories of her neighbours those who witness the crime and those whose lives are touched by it the depressed ex soldier the guilt ridden woman the naïve blackmailer the corrupt cop. As the night goes on an entire apartment block is brought to life while in the parking lot below Katrina fights for hers.
