Sixth Pay Commission Acceptance Orders for Railway Employees wef September 2008

The recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission have been accepted by the governemnt of India vide their Resolution dated 29.8.2008, subject to certain modifications. In pursuance to this Resolution the Ministry of Railways, Railway Broad has issued Railway Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2008, effective from 1.1.2006, fixing the pay of employees in the revised Pay brands with grade pay, laying down the new system for payment of 3% increment on band pay and grade pay and prescribing Ist july as the uniform date of increment for all employees. The specially of this book is that apart from the text of various orders it provides references and cross references at all appropriate places.
